Job Summary:
As a food runner at MILANOS ITALIAN GRILL, you will play a key role in delivering food to guests quickly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that food is delivered correctly, hot, and in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will help provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in the dining room.
- Assist servers by ensuring all food is delivered accurately and promptly.
- Help maintain a clean and organized dining environment by clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Communicate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that food is delivered in the correct order and to the right tables.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist with cleaning tasks, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring the dining area is tidy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays with multiple dishes.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
