Location: Mile Bluff Clinic South Upper Pod - Mauston, WI
Schedules Available: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; scheduled between 7:30am-5:30pm
Weekend rotation: No weekends
Holiday rotation: PTO for Holidays
Position Summary:
The MBC Pod Lead is responsible for coordinating Pod schedules, activities, and provide patient care staff duties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review policies and procedures on HOWIE when they are assigned.
- Identifies issues of concern, contributes to problem solving and resolution. Develops goals and opportunities for improving the work process. Integrates changes smoothly and clearly defines expectations and responsibilities.
- Attend monthly Patient Care Staff, Pod Lead/Outreach Supervisor, Pod/Dept Supervisor meetings and any other meetings assigned by the PCS Director or Clinic Administrator.
- With the assistance of the PCS Director and Clinic Administrator, maintains the budget and submits Capital Budget Purchase requests.
- Oversees workflow of the Pod including scheduling for coverage, authorizing time off, training, evaluating competencies, etc.
- Promotes communication with Practitioners, Patient Care Staff Director, Patient Care Staff and Administration to address processes and concerns.
- Travel to other MBMC clinics and Pods to cover as needed.
- Assist with hiring and training new staff.
- Conduct patient care duties and assist Practitioners.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant - certification required and must maintain CMA license through continuing education.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
- 5 years of related work experience in a clinical setting.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

- Knowledgeable regarding medication administration.
- Comprehensive nursing skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
