Job title: Director of Quality Assurance
Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
Position Summary:
The Director of Quality Assurance/Risk Management position directs all the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data to internal and external customers, as well as oversees the risk management of the medical center.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and reporting quality data.
- Serve as a consultant to other departments in development of policies and procedures as related to QA.
- Present to medical staff meetings, employee meetings, and make public presentations.
- Responsible for development, review, and revision of departmental policies and procedures annually.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required.
- CPHQ preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- 3 years of related work experience required. Must have experience in quality improvement and statistical analysis.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Expert proficiency with Excel is required.
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
- Ability to function independently and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; strong public speaking skills.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
