What are the responsibilities and job description for the PA/NP - Emergency/Urgent Care Department position at Mile Bluff Medical Center?
Mile Bluff Medical Center is currently seeking candidates to fill an open position in our Emergency/Urgent Care Department with an Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position will work 1-2 12-hour shifts per month.

Qualifications:
- PA or NP
- Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNNC or ATLS
- No J1 Visas
- American residency trained
- Skilled with I&D, pelvic exams, and suturing
- Comfortable with all ages; pediatric to geriatric
About our Emergency Department and Services:
- Level III Trauma Center
- Care for an estimated 1,000 patients per month in 8-room department
- Team consists of physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, nurse techs, and unit coordinators
- 24 hour respiratory, medical imaging, lab, and ED physician
- Basic Paramedic level services respond to county EMS calls
- Urgent Care hours: 3p-11p weekdays, 9a-9p weekends
