Position SummaryWe’re hiring a Contractor Sales Rep to drive revenue by building relationships with deck builders, general contractors, landscapers, and remodelers throughout the Denver Metro area. This is a field-heavy role—if you love being on job sites, solving problems, and closing deals, we want you.
Key Responsibilities· Identify and build relationships with deck builders, contractors, and construction pros.
· Visit job sites, provide quotes, take-offs, and material recommendations.
· Generate leads through cold outreach, site visits, and referrals.
· Promote new products, delivery services, and volume discounts.
· Own the customer experience—from first contact to fulfillment.
· Work closely with our yard, logistics, and inside sales team to ensure smooth operations.
· Represent Mile High Deck Supply at industry events and networking meetups.
What We’re Looking For· 2 years in building materials, lumber, or construction sales.
· Knowledge of decking products (Trex, Deckorators, TimberTech, wood types, fasteners, framing, etc.) is a huge plus.
· Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
· Self-motivated with a hunter mentality—you go find the business.
· Valid driver's license and comfortable driving to job sites daily.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary:
- $50,000 – $65,000/year (based on experience)
Bonus & Commission:
- Monthly bonus structure based on gross profit of closed sales:
- 1% commission on GP up to $50K/month
- 2% on GP $50K–$100K
- 3% for GP over $100K/month
- Target first-year total compensation: $80K–$100K
