Overview
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and retail experience.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs or concerns.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining the organization of the store as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless operation during busy periods.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Maintain cleanliness at the checkout area.
- Operate lottery machine.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cashier or retail position is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Experience in liquor store is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
