Position Title: Cafe Service Lead
Schedule: Daytime Shifts (Full-Time Position, Minimum 4 Days Per Week)

Our original location on South Street, Miles Table, is a counter-service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Miles Table features an eclectic menu of breakfast and lunch staples. Our diverse menu and counter-service style facilitate a strong regular customer base and quick turnaround times.
What You’ll Do:
- Set the Tone: Provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth teamwork in a fast-paced cafe.
- Make Drinks: Prepare and serve beverages with attention to detail.
- Serve Guests: Take orders, run food, and make sure guests have a great experience.
- Support the Team: Train and guide team members, keeping the vibe positive and productive.
- Keep It Organized: Manage takeout orders, follow cleaning checklists, and keep everything stocked and ready.
- Handle Cash: Oversee accurate cash handling and assist team members as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Weekend Availability: Must be available a minimum of 4 days per week, including weekends, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Leadership: Reliable and punctual, you’re someone others look up to.
- Customer Focus: Friendly, outgoing, and committed to great service.
- Problem-Solver: Quick on your feet and ready to tackle challenges.
- Team Player: Works well with others and keeps everyone on the same page.
- Adaptable: Open to feedback and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-Oriented: Follows procedures and keeps high standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous cafe, restaurant, or barista experience preferred. Leadership experience is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional with guests and teammates.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is helpful.
- Passion: Love great coffee, food, and connecting with people.
