We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience, who is ready to hit the ground running as a Sales and Business Development Representative. As a Sales and Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our customer success, playing a pivotal role in selling and demonstrating our software, showcasing how it enables prospects' field service management and automation processes. This position primarily focuses on the sales stage, shaping the customer journey and ensuring a seamless transition to post-sales support.

This position is hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, build, and manage a structured sales funnel to drive lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by proactively prospecting, engaging potential clients, and nurturing relationships.
- Leverage Salesforce to track leads, monitor pipeline progress, and optimize sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging, improve lead generation efforts, and enhance conversion rates.
- Utilize your expertise as a Sales and Business Development Representative to effectively demonstrate our software's capabilities in enabling efficient decision-making and field services management to optimize field operations with a mobile workforce.
- Configure and present compelling proofs of concept that align with the prospects' specific requirements and goals.
- Continuously adapt and enhance software demonstrations to address additional prospect needs and showcase the scalability of our software.
- Collaborate with the Miles engineering team of industry channel partners to provide valuable insights and contribute to the development of new features that support prospects' decision management processes.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and events to meet directly with government buyers.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Prefer a specialty in creating and executing demonstrations of software solutions to prospects.
- Proven expertise in showcasing data-driven insights and visualization using tools like Salesforce, PowerPoint, Qlik, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Previous experience tailoring demo environments to a prospects desired use case. Knowledge of analyzing and improving decision management practices.
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating organizational data: spreadsheets, pivot tables, SQL (or other DB), legacy enterprise sources, cloud repositories, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of sales and/or business development experience
- 6-9 months of calling experience either on the telephone or in the field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior experience using Salesforce
- Experience with building and managing high performing teams is highly advantageous.
