Milestone Commissioning is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Commissioning Technician to join our team.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Plant/Refinery/Offshore
Travel Requirements: Frequent site visits required
Essential Functions:
The Commissioning Leads work with the Commissioning Manager, Sr. Commissioning Engineer, and Commissioning Superintendent in development of commissioning plans and procedures for all systems and equipment. They will also support Operations with startup of equipment and performance testing. Commissioning Lead’s role will report directly to the Milestone Commissioning Superintendent on-site.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identifies all startup spares for their respective disciplines.
- Attend FATs and document results in a FAT Report as required.
- Coordinate with Vendors at site.
- This role will support client site inspector(s) and construction team(s) during MC-Mechanical Completion checks and work with construction during system handover to commissioning.
- Responsible for completing system handover walkdown with construction once system(s) or Mechanical complete, facilitate commissioning receiving system from construction.
- Plan and manage pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for overall project.
- Supervision of all Technicians during commissioning and startup preparation, execution activities, and ensure completion and quality control for A and B Check Sheets.
- Ensuring the safety of all Technicians on site.
- Coordinate with USCG or other regulatory bodies to witness and walkthrough required testing.
- Oversee preservation activities after mechanical completion.
- Manage function safety system tests of the facilities prior to turnover.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5-8 years of Experience
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
- Technician Degree/Certificate
- 8 years of Experience
