What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at Milestone Equipment Holdings LLC?
Are you ready to lead and innovate in the Southern California market? We’re seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive our sales strategies and uncover new business opportunities. You’ll prospect for new leads, provide market insights, and work closely with our inside sales team. With the help of our CRM tool, you’ll track progress and ensure seamless follow-ups.
Essential Functions:
- Independently generate new Chassis sales revenue within the assigned region
- Build relationships with current customers to generate and expand on new sales opportunities
- Generate new leads through independent research of the market and cold calling on prospects
- Partner with the inside sales team to effectively close warm leads
- Responsible for managing all customers within the region
- Track and maintain all sales activity using the CRM tool.
- Maintain a solid understanding of current market conditions and business trends to create effective deals for customers
- Participate in actively growing the division and exceed corporate initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- Five (5) years in sales or business development in the transportation Industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work later than scheduled hours
- Must have the ability and willingness to travel
- Demonstrate a positive and professional image
- Must be comfortable in speaking with customers and employees alike
- Must be able to work independently and drive success with minimum or no supervision
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing workflow and needs of the business
- Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience working directly in the Intermodal or Chassis leasing industry
