Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Location : Various Milestone facilities (mainly ICF facility with potential travel)

Responsibilities : Evaluation :

Utilize assessment tools to evaluate individuals' occupational therapy needs.
Set goals and formulate intervention plans tailored to each individual's status and needs.
Reassess progress regularly and as determined by the interdisciplinary team.

Programming :

Provide direct treatment to individuals based on evaluation findings.

Conduct training sessions with staff to enhance individuals' functional skills.

Complete accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.

Consultation :

Conduct in-service training for supervisory, administrative, and direct care staff on occupational therapy techniques.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize individuals' functioning.

Perform swallow screenings for new admissions to the facility.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

Illinois licensure as an occupational therapist.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as an occupational therapist.

Prior experience in treating individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Pay Range : $51.00 - 67.16

Benefits : Milestone offers all full-time employees medical, dental, life, 401k, and other voluntary insurance on the first of the month following sixty days of employment. Part-time employees are offered dental insurance on the first of the month following sixty days of employment. Personal days are accrued every quarter based on your seniority. Vacation time begins after six months of employment.
