Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. Duties
- Evaluate clients' financial situations to determine eligibility for loans.
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients and lenders.
- Prepare and present loan proposals to clients, explaining options clearly.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations during the lending process.
- Collaborate with escrow agents to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Build relationships with clients and guide them through the loan process.
- Analyze financial documents and match clients with the best mortgage solutions.
- Work with realtors, builders, and other professionals to generate leads.
- Stay up-to-date on mortgage products and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Experience & Licensing – Previous mortgage or sales experience preferred; NMLS license required.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
- Proficient in using loan origination software
- Solid understanding of credit analysis techniques and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Strong sales skills with a customer-focused approach.
