Milestone Project Services is currently seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Primary interface with Client and Contractor.
- Plans and executes the schedule control requirements for projects with little or no guidance. Responsible for providing schedule planning and maintenance. Analyzes variances in schedule performance against the approved plan, and communicates the reasons for variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management. Leads in the development and implementation of Work Breakdown, Scheduling, and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.
- Manages resources and integrated activities for multiple facilities.
- Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard scheduling techniques.
- Interfaces and coordinates with internal and external clients as required for successful project execution.
- Analyzes schedule trend variations and informs project management of potential problem areas. Recommends solutions or recovery plans to mitigate schedule impact or delay.
- Prepares and analyzes schedule status reports.
- Analyzes and forecast time/cost impact.
- Coordinates with procurement and engineering for drawing and equipment delivery schedules.
- Measures, reports, and analyzes engineering progress using an earned value basis.
- Develops the project cost and schedule control base.
- Provides training and assistance to other members of project control.
Requirements:
- 8 years P6 experience, well versed in: resource leveling, constraint schedule sequencing, group and sort options, bar chart options, filter utilization, customizing layouts and or reports, stacked histograms, tracking, resource assignments, duration types, completion percentage calculations and applications
- Oil and gas project experience
- Project Portfolio Management experience required
- Earned value management
- SPI / CPI
- Skilled in transferring P6 data to Excel and customizing to meet client needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate
- Attention to detail
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
