Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible House Manager/Peer Recovery Support Specialist to oversee the daily operations of our sober living facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for helping others maintain a sober lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Provide oversight and support to residents, ensuring a safe and respectful living environment.
Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts and emergencies with tact and efficiency.
Daily Operations: Manage daily household routines, including curfews, house meetings, and chore assignments.
Rule Enforcement: Uphold house rules and policies to maintain order and structure.
Support: Offer guidance and encouragement to residents on their journey to recovery.
Safety: Conduct regular safety checks and address any maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
Certification: Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification required.
Additional Training: CPR and First Aid certification, and Narcan administration certification required.
Clean and Valid Driver’s License: Required.
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role or familiarity with recovery programs is preferred.
Sobriety: Minimum of one year of continuous sobriety required.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
Reliability: Dependable and able to work flexible hours when coverage is needed.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to address and resolve issues promptly.
Fingerprint Clearance Card: Preferred.
Four hours of continuing education for Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification
