What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Milestone Recovery?
Description:
Custodians keep the building and grounds clean and neat, in a safe manner that meets agency standards. They use cleaning chemicals and other supplies while dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning all parts of the facility.
Requirements:- Perform basic custodial duties throughout the facility (Withdrawal Management Unit and Outpatient) daily keeping the building to hospital level clean
- Ability to follow daily checklist of tasks and take on other tasks as needed for sanitation purposes
- Perform light maintenance tasks (change lightbulbs/doorknobs, make dump runs, etc.)
- Help maintain upkeep of building (help shovel in winter, lawn upkeep, etc.)
- Assist other staff members with maintenance requests (help move boxes/furniture, etc.)
- Assist Facilities Director with maintenance tasks throughout the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned
