Equipment Operator
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of the designated Equipment onboard, operating the Equipment in a safe and
efficient manner.
Reports to: Deputy Offshore Construction Manager
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
Preparing Installation of Equipment on site or onboard.
Commissioning and testing of equipment and installations on site or onboard.
Execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of equipment.
Ensuring proper operations keeping own safe working environment, looking after People, Equipment, Product, and Environment.
Performing calibrations and testing, ensuring proper reporting and documentation.
Ensuring compliance with company's policies and procedures.
Providing training on the job for other employees.
Ensuring proper management of the Equipment, Tools, and facilities. Keeping on housekeeping duties for Equipment and working
site.
Education / Certificates:
Secondary vocational education level: mechanical (Facharbeiter)

Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Maritime Equipment (Incl. maintenance)
Experience in electrical / mechanical / hydrailic M&R works (fault finding)
Relevant knowledge of safe usage and operation of designated equipment and installations
Basic knowledge of operational processes ( i.e. Cable Laying / Offshore Activities )
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of the applicable occupational Health & Safety rules
Basic skills in ICT office applications
Preparedness to travel (offshore)
Must speak basic English
