Responsibilities
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
Financial Plan Development and Support
- Gather and analyze client data to develop personalized financial plans, approaching each case as a steward committed to safeguarding clients' best interests and long-term financial well-being.
- Collaborate with senior advisors to prepare detailed recommendations for client meetings, continually seeking ways to grow in skills and knowledge to enhance client outcomes.
- Use planning software (eMoney) to project financial scenarios and create robust strategies, demonstrating accountability through precise, reliable plan development and thorough attention to client details.
Client Engagement and Service
- Actively participate in client meetings with a positive and approachable attitude, building trust and fostering a welcoming environment that enhances the client experience.
- Listen attentively to clients’ concerns and address planning gaps, consistently acting as a steward of their financial goals and proactively supporting their long-term needs.
- Support senior advisors in fulfilling client requests promptly, ensuring that all follow-up items are handled efficiently as a team player dedicated to excellent service.
Insurance Sales and Support
- Identify potential insurance needs within financial plans, presenting options in a way that demonstrates a steward-like care for clients' financial stability and future security.
- Maintain an active insurance license and stay up-to-date on product knowledge, fulfilling the accountability required to confidently discuss and manage clients’ insurance needs.
- Approach insurance-related discussions with a positive and solution-oriented mindset, making clients feel informed and empowered to make the best decisions for their families.
Data and Process Management
- Enter client data accurately and maintain complete records in the firm’s CRM (Wealthbox), consistently showing accountability through precise, compliant documentation practices.
- Regularly review data entries for completeness and collaborate with team members to refine workflows, embodying a growth mindset and looking for ways to improve processes for enhanced client service.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to streamline processes, consistently acting as a team player who contributes to a cohesive, client-centered workflow.
Firm Growth and Contribution
- Support the firm’s AUM growth goals by actively contributing to planning processes that enhance client engagement, exemplifying the value of growth through dedication to firm-wide objectives.
- Embrace a long-term approach to client relationships by encouraging retention through attentive service and regular engagement, demonstrating a steward-like commitment to their financial success.
- Collaborate across the team to share insights, refine best practices, and onboard new clients, continuously functioning as a team player who supports collective goals and firm growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial planning, advisory, or a similar role.
- Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65)
- Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (experience with Precise FP is beneficial).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
