Location: Shiawassee County (in-home and Owosso clinic)
**Hours of Position: Monday through Friday 4-6:30 and Saturday 9-11:30.
Summary:
We are looking for dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team at Milestones ABA Clinic of Michigan. We are a new and growing company that is committed to providing high-quality ABA services to individuals with autism and their families. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism spectrum disorder to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated individual who is willing to go above and beyond to help our clients reach their full potential. **Must have reliable transportation.
**These positions are on average 6-15 hours a week and shifts start at 3 or 4pm.
**Candidates must complete the free 40 hour RBT online program before starting this position.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Work directly with individuals to teach and reinforce positive behaviors
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in the development of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and training
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with behavioral health and therapy practices
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers
- Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking progress
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Skills in behavior management techniques
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (e.g., kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) for extended periods of time
