Milford Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our nursing team plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, especially during surgical and dental procedures, and in delivering thorough client education.
In this role, you will assist during exams and outpatient care while coordinating with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep appointments and surgical procedures on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.
This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset:
- 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting required
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical Assisting
- Venipuncture
- Radiology
- Personable and professional
- Veterinary software knowledge (Cornerstone) preferred
- A passion for helping animals required
