40hrs days, flex to meet needs of the department. as needed weekends no holidays
Statement of Purpose :
Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for the Emergency Medicine Leadership Team. Provides MRMC organizational support through compiling data for improvement of patient flow. Provides support to the Emergency Medicine physician group and Boston Childrens physician group. Maintains physician credentialing and performance analysis. Is the liaison with external agencies in order to support both physician, EM resident. Provides assistance to patients with insurance and other legal documentation.
Qualifications :
Education : High School graduate, secretarial courses (Microsoft Office) or equivalent experience.
Certification / License : None
Experience : Eight to ten years administrative support experience, including administrative assistance or office management experience. Good typing, data entry and retrieval skills and ability to take dictation. Good knowledge of medical terminology. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and all of its components (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher), databases, spread sheets and graphic design. Must have very good communication skills, be detail oriented, and able to work collaboratively, as well as independently. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize daily activities in order to utilize time in an effective and efficient manner. Strong knowledge of data analysis and payroll experience preferred.
