Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Nurse
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 2x12-hour night shifts per week (7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am), including every other weekend and holiday
Guaranteed Hours : 24 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery
License : Valid RN License
Certifications : CPR / BLS, NRP
Must-Have : Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Assist with epidurals, inductions, C-sections, and other procedures as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on the labor process and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure readiness for potential on-call shifts.
- Uphold excellent patient care and service standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
