What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach, Girls Tennis position at Milford School District?
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the High School Athletic Director, the Girls TennisCoachwill instruct student athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical trainingnecessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. This positionwill also instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to strongcharacter development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. Prepare game and practice plans, and occasionally lead early practices and act as adult supervision forbus transportation to and from away games.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstratedability to foster meaningful relationships with adolescents, strong leadership skills and dynamic presence.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High school orcollege tennisparticipation and/or coaching experience is preferred.Knowledge of first aid and CPR required. District will provide training.SCHEDULE: Spring 2025 seasonDurationMarch 17, 2025 - June 6, 2025Stipend$2,124.38 for the season
