SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Elementary Coordinator for Student Support Services, the School Psychologist provides direct treatment services, psycho diagnostic services, and consultant services. The key role of the School Psychologist is to act as a resource person with robust expertise in mental health and special education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of data-centered decision making, accountability, collaboration and consultation
Ability to infuse knowledge of curriculum, assessment and instruction in discussions with various stakeholders
Significant knowledge of child development, learning disabilities and other factors that impact student learning
Skilled in the oversight and thorough administration of nationally recognized testing methods
Strong written, oral and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree and/or advanced graduate degree in School Psychology.
One to five years of experience in school psychology, with clinical experience also considered. (New graduates welcomed)

CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Certified through the New Hampshire State Department of Education as an Associate School Psychologist, School Psychologist (0046) or licensed through the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health..
