What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician Assistant position at Milford Veterinary Hospital?
Milford Veterinary Hospital is seeking to add a veterinary technician assistant to our independently owned, Fear Free certified, and AAHA accredited practice.
Our ideal candidate is a dependable team player, passionate about veterinary medicine, and is motivated and eager to learn. While veterinary experience is a plus, we would be willing to train if you are the right fit!
Some (but not all!) job responsibilities are listed below:
- Assist veterinary technicians with patient handling, treatments, radiographs, etc.
- Package samples and run laboratory tests
- Keep exam rooms and surgical suite fully stocked.
- Sterilizing and wrapping surgical packs.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the hospital.
- Etc.!
