Job Description: Milford is seeking a talented and versatile part-time Writer to contribute to both Milford Magazine and Milford Real Estate. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, skilled in crafting compelling content, and possesses a keen eye for detail. This role involves writing articles, blog posts, marketing materials, and more for various brands under the Milford umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing Team in curating content for digital and print elements, including newsletters, blog articles, email campaigns, social media content, scripts, home listings, website content, sales materials, informational guides, brochures, and more.
- Conduct interviews, research, and write quarterly feature articles for Milford Magazine.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to develop and refine content ideas.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Revise, proofread, and edit content to maintain high editorial standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into writing projects.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Writer, Journalist, or similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research and interviewing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with WordPress and SEO best practices.
- Experience in media, publishing, or marketing is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
