What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swing Shift - Production Assembler position at Milgard Manufacturing LLC?
A Swing Shift Production Assembler job at our manufacturing plant in Simi Valley, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you’ll have mechanical aptitude with the ability to use other hand tools. You will assist in the work activities of the department team members. Additionally, you work directly with the department supervisor and department lead to seeing that all manufacturing orders are followed through properly to completion and are filled properly before the deadline. You must be able to perform tasks as assigned in the construction of windows and patio doors in all phases of assembly. In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance.
The compensation is $20 an hour, plus $2 shift differential. The position requires a start time of 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications:
- One year of similar work experience (Assembly, Manufacturing, and/or Warehouse)
- Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition/subtraction
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
