Military & Commercial Fasteners, a privately held industrial distribution and manufacturing business supporting both military and commercial OEMs is seeking anOutside SalesRepresentative.Military & Commercial Fasteners works with the defense, aerospace, heating/cooling, rail, commercial and transportation markets.
TheOutside Sales Representativewill be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers based in the York and Lancaster PA areas (and potentially other areas). This opportunity will involve in-house (York, PA) and field-on the road work. This role is mostly working with existing clients and is not a cold calling sales role.
TheOutside Sales Representativewill sell
- Vendor managed inventory of fasteners and hardware
- Third-party logistics
- High precision machinery
- Kitting and packaging
The ideal candidate must be confident, a proven relationship builder, have a high comfort level with initiating face-to-face conversations and demonstrated expertise in customer engagement.

Outside Sales RepresentativeResponsibilities:
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Maintain records of all sales leads and /or customer accounts
- Educate customers on product knowledge
- Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions
Outside Sales RepresentativeQualifications:
- 1-2 yrs. face-to-face sales experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter
- Proactive problem solver
- Detail oriented
- Willing to work independently
- ERP experience preferred
- Drivers license
- Excel and Outlook knowledge
- Fastener or similar sales experience preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
