As a Pricing Coordinator at MDBS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of critical data, allowing our teams to deliver excellence to the men and women who serve our country. This part-time position offers flexibility (25-30 hours per week), with core working hours typically between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Office is located in Aurora. After a successful training period, hybrid remote work options will be available.
What Youll Do:
- Data Coordination: Ensure smooth data flow into external systems by managing the addition of new items, price updates, and system maintenance.
- Documentation & Execution: Oversee and process necessary documentation to external partners, ensuring timely execution of item updates.
- System Monitoring: Actively monitor system updates, following through on tasks to ensure accuracy and completion.
- Verification & Testing: Review monthly verification reports and test scan spreadsheets to identify discrepancies, implement changes, and ensure corrections are made.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination for data flow between systems.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of all system changes and provide regular updates to both internal and external teams.
- Excel Expertise: Use Microsoft Excel and Power Queries to generate price changes, analyze data, and support the team.
- PLU & UPC Management: Assign PLUs for new scale-labeled items and manage the purchase of new UPCs.
What Youll Bring:
- Experience: Preferred background in Grocery, Deli/Bakery, or Food Service.
- Attention to Detail: A strong ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in data.
- Organization: Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Independence: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay on top of deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to manage large datasets across systems.
