Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a PSYCHOLOGIST to perform disability behavioral health interviews for America’s Veterans and Service Members both in-person and virtually. The disability interview process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement) for the Veteran.
The behavioral health interviews are scheduled 30 minutes to 1 hour. The ideal PSYCHOLOGIST candidate is able to work at least 4 to 8 hours per week. You are welcome to work more hours if desired!
The PSYCHOLOGIST enters the Veteran’s interview responses with active-duty/case history information, and opinion in the designated portal and submits electronically. There is no treatment, testing, scheduling, or billing on the part of the psychologist.
ATTENTION:
If you currently work for Veterans Affairs and would like this position part-time, the VA permits you to do so with a clearance letter.
CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years post-graduate experience (3 to 6 months of externship experience may be considered if post-graduate experience is less than two years).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted State of Georgia practitioner's license.
- Malpractice/liability insurance for self-employment.
- Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet local, state, and federal standards or policies.
PAY:
1099 contract position paying $150 per case
