Military & Federal Construction Company is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Underground Utility Foreman. In order to be considered for the position, qualified applicants should be able to demonstrate they are capable of meeting the following requirements.
Requirements:
-10 years of experience of equipment operation on, Excavators, ----Capable of understanding, reading, shooting, and converting grade measurements -------Capable of passing a Federal Background Check for base security requirements ------ Capable of Installing complete water, sewer and storm drain systems from start to finish.
-Hold a Valid Drivers License
-Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
-Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
-Excellent leadership and communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
-Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Effectively Lead a crew to achieve and maintain company goals and expectations
- Oversee and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and ensure adherence to project plans
