The Military intelligence Corps Association Store has an immediate need for a part-time Store Associate /Membership Coordinator / Social Media Assistant, who can participate in sales and transactions; maintain the MICA member database and assist with MICA's social media.
Store Clerk/Membership Coordinator Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively to promote sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area.
- Process MICA Membership Orders; mail membership packets to MICA members.
- Process and mail Lifetime Member plaques.
- Process MICA on-line store orders; print invoice, package items and mail to customes
- Assist with inventory
- Assist with MICA social Media accounts.
Essential skills and experience:
- Able to work a flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends)
- Must be able to engage and speak to members and understand their needs
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50-pound range.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work independently
Preferred skills and experience:
- Customer service or cashier experience in a retail environment
