AIRCREW FLIGHT EQUIPMENT
Position Summary
Preparing aircraft for flight takes a lot of attention to detail and fine-tuning. That’s where our Aircrew Flight Equipment specialists come in. In this role, you’re responsible for keeping our flight and safety equipment tip-top and the necessary supplies readily available. You’ll also equip our Airmen for survival with regular and emergency items such as parachutes, oxygen masks, survival kits and more to meet objectives across abroad range of missions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Control and issue aircrew side arms and ammunition.
- Perform maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment.
- Instruct aircrew on proper flight and chemical defense equipment use.
- Ensure aircrew are qualified and ready to deploy.
- Operate various test equipment, such as leakage testers and oxygen masks.

Qualifications
This job requires military service with a contract as a commissioned officer in the Air National Guard. The application is for a specific position within the Air National Guard.
To be considered you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma, GED with 15 college credits or GED
- Completion of a National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
