Job Description
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Document in detail product problems and resolutions
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Associates or technical degree preferred
Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other measuring equipment)
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems (ball screws, bearings, gearing, and various way systems)
Experience in Mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (indicators, micrometers, gauge blocks and optical comparator. Laser Interferometer and ball bar a plus)
