Job Description
Utilize professional communication skills and mechanical and electrical knowledge to test, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical problems on Industrial Machining products. Services are provided on-site at customer facilities and remotely via telephone if the situation permits. Duties include :
- Heavy local area travel but with occasional travel throughout North America
- Travel to local customer locations to diagnose technical problems and perform on-site repairs
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair / rebuild electrical and mechanical systems
- Examine machines mechanically and perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding mechanical system
- Diagnose technical problems and troubleshooting via telephone if possible
- Exhibit extremely effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Utilize schematics, drawings, and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
