Senior Electrical Engineer - Design

Job Description

Tasks include conceptual design, component specification, system hardware design and programming. The engineer will manage high level projects from concept to production and will work closely with other engineers and technical staff.

• Requires the ability to apply the principles of electrical and electronic theory and related experience to design, program and troubleshoot state of the art packaging machinery.
• Develop and test new designs as needed and develop high speed automation packaging machine projects.
• Ability to design complete electrical systems from concept to prototype and production.
• Knowledge to read and troubleshoot ladder logic within motion controls. including programming of servo drives (AB).
• Travel to customer locations to assist in software or hardware repair or installations. Amount of travel approx. 20%
• Create wiring schematic, program diagrams, and complete bill of materials.
