We are currently seeking a driven Route Salesperson to join our team. This role focuses on the after-market sales of essential dairy farm supplies, including animal health products, teat dips, milking supplies, and other consumables. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining Milk Barn LLC’s reputation as a trusted partner to our dairy customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with dairy farm owners, managers, and other key players to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutions.
  • Promote and sell consumable products such as animal health supplies, milking supplies, cleaning products, and other after-market solutions.
  • Manage a designated sales route and operate out of a standard personal or company vehicle.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, becoming a trusted advisor to the farms in your region.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing solutions that meet the daily operational needs of dairy farms.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities, closing sales, and ensuring repeat business.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor products.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the agricultural or dairy farming sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Ability to listen and assess customer needs, offering value-driven solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing a designated sales route.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
  • Knowledge of dairy farm operations or consumable products is a plus.
