About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Milk Education. As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs.
">Key Responsibilities
">- To work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, providing consistent support to children with additional needs in and out of the classroom.
- To establish productive working relationships with pupils, setting high expectations and acting as a role model.
- To contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school, modelling a can-do approach.
- To promote independence and employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement and develop self-esteem.
Requirements
">- A recent psychology degree or psychology background is encouraged.
- Evidence of successful experience supporting students with Autism and/or learning disabilities.
- Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
- A reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
