Ice Cream Scooper/Cashier

Milkbox Ice Creamery is seeking positive and energetic scoopers for our downtown ice cream shop located in historic Union Station. We are currently looking for someone for part time (16-24 hrs/wk) with the opportunity for full time (up to 40 hrs/wk). Pay starts at $15.79 with tips added; your customer service skills determines your potential. Scheduled shifts typically range between 6-8 hours during which time you will have direct and continuous sales/service contact with customers, remain on your feet for the entire period, handle financial transactions, and maintain a healthy relaxing atmosphere.

Job Duties:

• Maintain a friendly, high-energy attitude

• Scoop, serve & engage with customers while following company procedures

• Keep the shop running smoothly by restocking and cleaning when necessary

• Work as a team and occasionally help by performing tasks that may not be directly related to your specific assignment

• Use a cash register and accurately handle cash

Requirements:

• 16 years old

• Can lift up to 50 lbs & stand for your whole shift

• Can work at least 2 shifts per week (6-8 hr shifts)

• Open availability- our shop is currently open Friday-Sunday 11-6pm with the idea of expanding hours/ days as the summer gets hotter

• Commitment to schedule adherence, continued training, and growth
