We are looking for experienced Concrete Finishers for work in the Canton area.
A concrete finisher is responsible for finishing and smoothing concrete surfaces, both horizontally and vertically, to create a polished and aesthetically pleasing appearance. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to achieve the desired finish on concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation:
- Prepare the work area by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms or molds for pouring concrete.
- Ensure proper alignment and elevation of forms to meet project specifications.
- Concrete Placement:
- Assist in the pouring of concrete into forms or molds, ensuring even distribution and proper consolidation.
- Monitor concrete placement to prevent air pockets and voids.
- Finishing Techniques:
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to finish and smooth concrete surfaces.
- Apply various finishing techniques, such as troweling, edging, and stamping, to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
