What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at MILKOVICH HOLDINGS?
We are looking for a Material Handler for full time work in Canton, OH. We are looking for someone who is reliable and a team player. This is a first shift position 6am-2pm Monday - Friday with overtime possible. Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Overhead crane is experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Receiving and shipping materials
- Delivering materials around the shop to productions areas
- Transacting materials in the computer system
- Must be good with computers
- Re-enter unused material into inventory
- Must be able to work as a team and alone
Qualifications
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment
- Proficient in operating forklifts and cranes
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Knowledge of RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and use of cherry pickers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
