Job Description
Job Title: 2nd Shift Process Technician
Location: Modesto, CA
Hours: Full-time: 4:00 pm to 12:00 am

Our products that we manufacture include over 150 different types of dairy inflations to fit most brands and types of shells, as well as, tubing, claws, filters, and a variety of other products for the dairy parlor.
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, maintains press equipment settings/production adjustments and changes molds within the press department. Ensures that presses are operating with proper settings and maintains appropriate molds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Change molds and adjust set points
Complete required documentation through mold or process changes, end of shift
Uses Optiflex to ensure proper wall thickness prior to operation start
Clean production molds according to schedule or as needed
Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
Set-up and operate press production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
Identify and troubleshoot problems in processes, products, equipment and work for solution
Audit and record set points for presses
Sets daily weights for all presses and verification of appropriate weight
Ensure production area is safe to work
Assigned tasks and duties as required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Ability to troubleshoot the presses within the department and an understanding on how to resolve common issues associated with molding product. Prefer to have past experience with rubber molding.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGRSTRATIONS:
License to operate a forklift truck – Internal training and certification.
