JOB TITLE: Full-time Fleet Mechanic
Full-time, hourly with paid overtime and benefits
We are looking for an additional mechanic to join a small team responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of equipment. We are looking for someone with broad knowledge of various equipment types and the ability to hit the ground running. Candidate must be reliable, mature, and have shown longevity in previous employment.
Job Requirements:
Ability to repair and maintain small engine equipment. (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.)
Ability to repair and maintain both gas and diesel powered trucks.
Ability to repair and maintain diesel powered equipment.
(skid loaders, trenchers, excavators, etc.)
Ability to diagnose and repair various electrical systems. (snow plows, trailer wiring, and other electrical components)
Ability to perform repair on various types of hydraulic systems and components.
Welding and basic fabrication knowledge a plus.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and occasionally loads up to 75 lbs.
Must have own tools.
We have a well outfitted shop ranging from fabrication tools to dealer level diagnostic equipment for off highway equipment.
Ability to stay motivated and work without direct supervision.
Team player with a positive can do attitude.
Educational and Experience requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role/position.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR for company insurance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate multiple types of equipment and transmission types.
