What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager/Receptionist position at Mill City Electric Co.?
For the first time in 5 years, Mill City Electric Co is seeking a motivated, outgoing and adaptable individual to assist with managing our office! This would be a full-time long lasting position. Our goal is to hire someone that can grow with our company, become part of the Mill City team, and help us reach the next level of awesomeness!
Job roles would include but not be limited to:
-Answering phone calls
-Project scheduling and dispatching
-Organizing a bunch of disorganized field technicians
-Signing for deliveries
-Assisting with payroll & accounting
-Assisting with pulling permits and setting up inspections
-Assisting with marketing & social media
-Greeting random people that walk through the front door just to tell jokes
-Watering the office plants (we currently have no plants)
-Buying office plants
-Turning on the lights, opening the shades, closing the shades, turning off the lights
-Giving snacks to Lexi the office dog
8am-ish to 4pm-ish.
Work for a small locally-owned company.
You will need to have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Some experience as a receptionist/scheduler would probably be good.
Knowing fancy electrical jargon such as 120 volt 15 amp AFCI/GFCI-protected tamper-resistant duplex receptacle outlet wouldn't hurt, but isn't required.
This is a position where personality and energy level will outweigh experience and knowledge.
