Job Description:
Mill City Medical Group (MCMG) is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Assistant for MCMG you are joining a team that strives to be the best for Primary Care. This position is responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient delivery of primary health care and creating a positive patient experience. This role will be full-time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver the best care for our patients.
- Ensure patients have a positive experience whether in-person or on the phone.
- Interview patients regarding medical concerns and obtain medical history.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for exams. Drape patients and position instruments and equipment.
- Measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height. Record vital signs and other health-related issues on patients’ charts.
- Set-up EKG machines, administer injections, and perform routine specimen collection and tests.
- Assist in performing routine medical procedures as requested.
- Assist in patient education with related educational tools, periodicals, flyers, and handouts.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA regulation.
- Provide medical triage via telephone to patients as needed.
- Assisting with front office duties as needed.
- Help with scheduling appointments and referrals.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education, Licensure, & Certification Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or LPN.
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Ability to work with a variety of teams and practice locations
- Previous experience as a Patient Service Representative also considered.

- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients and medical staff
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and understanding of patient privacy and ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
