What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Dental Assistant position at Mill City Orthodontics?
Job Overview
Mill City Orthodontics is a single-doctor practice started in 2022 and is located in Northeast Minneapolis. The team currently consists of the doctor and a full-time patient care coordinator. As our clinical needs have grown, we are looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant (LDA) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity in that you will be working alongside Dr. Padovano to deliver lower volume, high quality care. Excellent chairside manner and communication skills are a must. Since you will be the only LDA for a period of time until we add more team members, being dependable with your scheduled days is essential. We see a significant amount of adult patients, although our kid and teen patient base is growing. We are about 50:50 aligners and twin bracket braces patients. Since we are a smaller practice, either experience or the motivation to work with the front desk in a cross-training capacity is necessary. Our philosophy is to focus on quality orthodontic treatment for our patients while also taking care of our staff. We want to foster long-term employees. The goal is for you to grow into the clinical team lead as our practice continues to grow.
