As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and personnel. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective inventory control measures to minimize loss and optimize stock levels.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, such as supply chain disruptions, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and storage racks.
- Implement and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- CDL driver preferred but not required.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.
