Your Role as RN Unit Manager
As RN Unit Manager, you will oversee our long-term care unit, ensuring that each resident receives compassionate, high-quality care. You will lead care planning, team coordination, and process improvements that enhance both resident and staff experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee care delivery on the long-term care floor
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address concerns from residents, families, and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage admissions and discharges, including documentation and care planning
- Maintain accurate staffing records and assist with scheduling
- Support infection control, safety, and resident care programs
- Take on special projects and additional duties as assigned
What You Need
- Active NC state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1 to 3 years of nursing experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Professional, with a commitment to confidentiality
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
