JOB DESCRIPTION
Mill Creek Education is looking for an experienced Math and Science instructor with strong knowledge of advanced high school math and science concepts, strong teaching skills, and ability to work as an independent contributor with limited oversight. The position requires teaching and preparing students for Precalculus, Calculus and SAT math prep. It would also be a plus if you have experience with one or several of the following: AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics and / or AP Stats.

This is an excellent year-round part-time opportunity for the ideal candidate. Hours are flexible based on your availability and typical lessons are scheduled from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday with earlier start times during the summer. Classes will be 1-on-1 private tutoring lessons. QUALIFICATIONS
B.A or B.S. degree from an accredited college
Experience teaching Middle to Advanced English courses
Experience working with students in middle and/or high school
Great lesson planning and organizational skills
Ability to connect with students with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Adaptable and flexible to change
Professional attitude and work ethic
At least 2 years of teaching experience

Monitor and track student progress
