Operations Technician

Position Overview

The Operations Technician's role is to perform all tasks involved with shipping and receiving Mill Creek’s products, office supplies, and manufacturing materials. This position will be responsible for customer interactions, order fulfillment, and supply management.

Essential Job Functions

• Main point of contact for all office deliveries, visitors, and contractors
• Receives orders for Mill Creek’s products
• Utilizes Microsoft Excel to create reports and manage inventory
• Collaborates with business and production managers to assign inventory based on customer orders
• Prepares shipping paperwork following established SOPs and FDA GMP guidelines
• Ships and packs Mill Creek product orders for domestic and international customers
• Orders and maintains a sufficient level of office supplies
• Organizes and maintains shipping supplies, shipping room, and warehouse areas
• Checks in materials and supplies following established SOPs and FDA GMP guidelines
• Completes documentation and maintain records
• Documents according to SOPs and FDA GMP guidelines
• Reports deviations and non-conformances to internally defined requirements and GMP requirements to MCLS leadership
• Interacts with platelet suppliers to coordinate incoming shipments of platelets to Mill Creek

• Complies with MCLS defined policies, processes, and procedures in the conduct of routine activities
• Maintains competency in FDA Good Manufacturing Practices
• Shares knowledge and information to assist in education and training MCLS staff
• Maintains and enhances professional and competency skills

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling adjustments, off shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend work assignments
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred
• Previous FDA GMP experience preferred or willingness to complete course work within 3 months
• High Attention to detail

Other Skills/Abilities

· Must be able to lift 40 pounds

· Must be able to work in clean room environment and gowning

· Good personal hygiene
