Description
Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Door Installer to join our team. The Door Installer will be responsible for the installation of residential and commercial doors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install exterior doors, including pre-hung, slab, and custom doors for residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and industry regulations.
- Perform accurate measurements and necessary modifications to fit doors properly.
- Secure and align doors, frames, and hardware according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges on-site.
- Work with other team members, contractors, and customers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and building codes.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in door installation, carpentry, or related construction work preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with door hardware installation, including locks, hinges, and closers.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
